[cgiapp] Newbie: Using CGI::App with H::T

I have been playing around with the two for a while but I just cant
grasp the idea of templates.

I get why they are used-separation of form and function. What I don't
get is how to use templates. The specific project I'm working on now is
a stats reporter. The user (mgmt) can select certain parameters on what
they want reported, and then of course the db is queried and results
displayed.

Now, is it common to have a different template for each runmode? The
form for the user to specify what they want run looks far different from
the report returned, except for basic elements like the header text. I
cant figure out how to use the same template for the form and returned
report. It seems easier to use a small boilerplate function for the
header text and generate the html in the perl application.

This may or may not be the correct list for this question, but since the
real question is whether it is normal to have different template files
for each runmode, it seems the proper place.
Does anyone have any resources that may help?

Thanks,

Scott
