Thanks this was a really helpful reply. I now remember reading about things like this a long time ago, but never ran into a problem serious enough to need to do it. I have done some things with forking, but I am still a little nervous about it. The only problem I see is that IE is capable of blocking Meta refresh tags now.
On a somewhat off topic note, is it new news to anyone that IE resubmits *every* time you click on it? It breaks the connection you made as if you had clicked stop, reload each time you click on the submit. It never occurred to me that IE would work this way because I learned about forms on Netscape which certainly does lock the submit after it is clicked.
