Just to give you an idea, one app I saw (the one that got me using C::A)
had over 30 "apps". The designer gave me a good rule of thumb - "If you
have more than 8-12 runmodes in a given app, then you should have a good
reason not to refactor."
The apps I've built - one has 5 "apps" and one has 4 "apps". (Both are
still growing, too.)
