Did you set the variable indicating the run-mode (mode_param) to
something else, but not update your forms?  If so, you can change the
old mode_param all you want to no avail, it'll always run the default.

If you're using CGI.pm to generate your forms, did you make sure that
it's not sticky-ing your variables?

Do you tromple your $q->param() somewhere in setup(), pre_run(), or
cgiapp_init()?

Those are my stabs in the dark.
