I think the setup sub that Steve suggested is your best bet. Basically,
instead of thinking of figuring out which tab is selected from inside
the query runmode, think about each tab being a seperate runmode.

I'm not sure what Steve was trying to do with the cgiapp_prerun. It
looked more complicated that what I understood you were trying to figure
out.
