You might try asking on the HTML::Template list as well. What exactly is
it that you want to do? Perhaps you trying to walk a whole tree of
static HTML files and stuff them all into the same HTML::Template-based
template?

Perhaps WML would be of interest to you:

It's not specifically made to work with HTML::Template but works in this
kind of problem-space, and could be made to work with H::T, I'm sure.
(I haven't used it myself, but have considered trying it out for a site
management tool.).
