Hey Dimitris,
I use a superclass.pm and base a usermode.pm and adminmode.pm on this. To
handle administrative functions, I use cgi::session. The system moves from
user mode to admin mode by simply calling an admin level cgi (I actually do
it with javascript on an event handler for the admin menu button.) I think I
make make use of every cgi::app function: the pre_run is most useful. This
is where I check to see if the user is logged in.
