Not so silly. As some of the values for bb-display are upper and some are 
lowercase I figured it's case-insensitive and I prefer to use lowercase 
for consistency.

It's started to work now, but it's not working reliably. It flipflops 
between purple and green.

On first glance it looks like it expects a report every 5 minutes and the 
default for the reports is every ten minutes. However, I have this line 
"DEFAULT      community=public frequency=5 perf=5 ALL" in all my uxmon-net 
files and haven't changed any frequencies.
Also, if we look closer at the stats above, there are sometimes 5 and 
sometimes ten minutes between "connected" states and even between the five 
minute gaps it drops to "no status report". I experience this on *all* 
hosts I added to %Autoconn. It rather looks as if %Autoconn has it's own 
schedule instead of adapting to the frequency of the reporting host.
