[Bigsister-general] Using %Autoconn for checking connectivity

Has anyone managed to get %Autoconn to act as described in the
documentation. 

"Tell bbd to automatically set the status of host.conn to 'green' each time
a connection is coming in from this host. Set status to 'red' (not to
'purple') if no report for &gt15 min."

If this works, what column does conn appear under?

It doesn't seem to do anything at all for me.

The reason I discovered the feature at all is because icmp_ping won't work
even when I use uxmon-asroot to call it, and ping with ICMP set as the
default protocol works, but tells me it has been deprecated. It certainly
seems to be an easy way to check if your host is alive without an explicit
ping.

Anyone?
