postpone=10 means, that all upcoming errors are waiting for 10 minutes before 
they will be sent via e-mail.
If the error is gone during this time, no Mail will be sent...

if set, alarms shall not be sent for additional x minutes and rather stay in 
the queue. If during the postpone time period the alarm condition is cleared 
the alarm is silently dropped without ever sending an alert message. I.e. 
Postpone is meant to be used during night when you do not want to get woken up 
by alert messages but you want to get an alert as soon as you get to work if 
the problem persists
