The absolute amount doesn't matter (although it is more than I get in all 
my other mail), it's the relative amount. It's actually more spam than 
list traffic. And I think *that* is not good for a list. Keeping this list 
open for posting to non-subscribers is unlikely to attract more postings 
in my eyes. Especially, once the non-subscriber goes to the archive and 
sees the massive assortment of spam it's highly unlikely that they even 
consider this list as alive.
