On my bigsister server (where bbd and bsmon run) I did a Perl update ...actually I updated a great deal, kernel, apache, a lot of stuff via RedHat network. The system also runs a uxmon (as root), which performs many tests over the network. All of my 'realhttp' tests went down... I believe this is BS 0.098... (but I can't remember where I can check that in the BS install.) some symptoms: on one of the 'realhttp' tests individual pages, under "Text" they used to show... http://foohost.foodomain.foo/ OK (0.01s) and now they all show... http://foohost.foodomain.foo/ (s) so the status is entirely missing, and there's no time in front of the 's' for seconds. my guess was that the Perl update broke something with pattern matching. Or perhaps updated the HTTP Perl module and completely broke the test... I've waded around in some of the code related (i think) to the 'realhttp' test, but I can't find anything wrong. (For example, I believe I located the usage of the HTTP module and checked that the coding looks correct with respect to the version of the HTTP module installed.) Does anyone have any thoughts? -craig ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
