[Bigsister-general] huge problems with the generation of the alarm e-mail notification

Hi @ all,

 

I have the problem that our monitoring server creates wrong alarmmails sporadicly which look like suppressed these mails doesn’t go on our usage mail – account.

The message stay local and at night we don’t get an answer.

 

The problem is likely in the data file bs_evgen.pm under the directory /usr/share/bigsister/bin/Statusmon/.

 

Have anybody a solution for this awful problem?  

 

 

System specification:

We are using a Linux Fedora Core release 1 (Yarrow) with the following packages:

bigsister-1.02-4

bigsister-agent-1.02-4

bigsister-server-1.02-4

postfix-2.0.11-5
