Hi there, I'm still struggling with the "only 1% idle" problem on some servers. IMO it's not a bad thing to have 0% idle. Only to have a load above, say, 8 is considered a bad state. What can I do about this? I tried installing SNMP... I have localhost(kenny) idle_red=0 load memory network idle_red=0 cpuload in uxmon-net, but it still reports: &red only 1% idle! CPU load = 2.21, &green Swap Space 2GB (99.9%) free &green logged on users = 0 top - 06:57:32 up 12 days, 11:36, 0 users, load average: 2.21, 1.89, 1.84 Tasks: 73 total, 1 running, 72 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie Cpu(s): 95.7% us, 4.3% sy, 0.0% ni, 0.0% id, 0.0% wa, 0.0% hi, 0.0% si Mem: 2076352k total, 1970648k used, 105704k free, 178784k buffers Swap: 2104472k total, 3036k used, 2101436k free, 1500340k cached Is there a way to look for load instead of idle?
