[Bigsister-general] How to check if a filesystem is mounted

Hi,

I would like to receive an alert message when a NFS mounted filesystem 
becomes unavailable (i.e. nfs server goes down or my host didn't mount 
it correctly at boot)
Is there a check which can do that?
