Hi Jason,

As Craig said, if you are using realhttp you can include a timeout=N equate in 
the uxmon-net file in /etc/bigsister or your local bs location.

One way to configure it would be:
localhost     url=www.yourdomain.com/check.html timeout=15 realhttp

Also, I found in the help page of the Old-style healthchecks, that if you are 
using regular http healthcheck, you can control the timeout using tcp timeout 
equate:
http://www.joerg.cc/html/bigsis/rn03re40.html

Since it´s in the old style section of healthchecks, this may not apply anymore.
