[Bigsister-general] Pager setup right?

Hi all, I´m new arround.

 

I´ve set up a bigsis monitoring environment, and have been able to work arround most of setups and problems just fine, but now, I´m clueless.

 

My BS server version is 1.02, release 4.

 

In order to send SMS alerts to my boss, I´m trying to use the pager configuration to call a perl script every time an alarm is released.

 

This is how my bb_event_configuration.cfg looks like:

        mail=/usr/share/bigsister/bin/sendPersonal:down,sendmail:suppressed \

        maxpermin=20

 

sendPersonal is a perl script, quite simple, which logs all incoming @argv to a file. I´ve tested this script several time, just to make sure it works and it does when executed from the command line.

 

Point is, I force an alert on the server and the email goes off just fine, but the script is never executed (since the log file is empty).

 

I´ve checked ownership and privileges of the files (log and sendPersonal), and emulated the rest of BS scripts on this aspect (root.root 755).

 

Also, I check the messages log and it does´t have any error on the file execution:

(Here you see an http healthcheck down and up alarms being send)

 

I´d apretiate a lot any light you could shed on this one.
