[Bigsister-general] DNS down, bigsis not reporting it?

My DNS server went down last week, and for some reason big sister did 
not send me an email about it.

So I'm doing some testing today, and I changed the IP address in 
uxmon-net so bigsis will see it as down.  It does not send me an email 
about it, but on the big sis page for my DNS server it says ";; 
connection timed out; no servers could be reached" but the status is OK 
with a green dot.  What could be wrong?  Here are the related lines from 
my uxmon-net file:

DESCR           features=unix,linux                     10.0.0.199
10.0.0.199(DNSserver)   frequency=5 timeout=15 dns  

There is no "dns" line in my bb_event_generator.cfg file, so I don't 
think the problem is there.  The problem is that status is staying 
OK/green for some reason.
