1) I don't think "debian" is a valid feature. I could be wrong, but I don't
think BS has such an option.

2) you've not declared this host to be "remote" therefore trying to ICMP ping it
 probably won't work, and even if it did it would be pointless.


Try this DESCR instead.
DESCR        features=remote,unix,linux                aragorn.domain.biz
