Only if the page can retrieve data you will see something in the drop down. And there can be quite a few reasons why it can't get any data, that why I suggest going MySQL. It's easy to setup and troubleshoot. Clicking > either of the Display buttons simply refreshes the page. The page will display this warning once it gets data, the histgraphs are done with these tools not with rrdtool. I'll check if I get going with your comments about bsgraph.
