According to http://www.joerg.cc/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?BigSister my printed out PDF is up-to-date, as it says "November 2005". partition[list of regular expression/string] A list of resource (partition/volume/drive) names can just mean *everything*. I suppose I should not use something like /[CDEF]+/ which *would* be a regexp. Does it want the list without commas? Spaces? A colon after the drive letter? Something else? I think the manual would benefit from examples in ambiguous places like this. localhost(bolero) perf=30 warn=5% fail=1% disk works and would be sufficient for me - but the problem is that it also checks _Total. From my experience that creates a problem when you have unallocated space (which was the case on the machine that got replaced, that's why I resorted to specifying partitions). Now, diskload: localhost(bolero) warn=100 fail=100 diskload as I understand I should probably never get a warning, but instead I get this: (red) (<<) % Disk Busy = 0.0837664016507923 (green) % Disk Busy = 0.0837664016507923 localhost(bolero) diskload produces (green) % Disk Busy = 0.0612406694424403 (black) status not known (yet) Kai -- Kai Schätzl, Berlin, Germany Get your web at Conactive Internet Services: http://www.conactive.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
