 Hello, 

    a million of thanks. I tried it and It's working :-) but... we would like to show the date before WARNING which is within the same line in /var/log/messages. I tried with some patterns without success. Could you tell us anything about how to show the date too?

Have a look at the etc/syslog file: therein you'll find a pattern like

  warning                         yellow  15      warning

If you change this to i.e.

  warning(.*)			  yellow	15	warning $1

Then you'll get the text that is printed after the keyword "warning" in syslog reprinted in Big Sister.
