And what about MTA in this situation. Will I get many messages from my
e-mail system complaining the missing user nobody?

My ups test check is a small Perl script which using apc_access.
I think the script itself is not relevant.

I think my config a little bit complex.
Some explanation.
I use background image maps.
There is a checking ball under my UPS. The config is in the BS
client's uxmon-net:
localhost(ferencvaros_ups) exec="~bs/bin/getups" item=UPS results="1:green:P
ower online;2:red:Power offline;4:red:UPS error;3:yellow:UPS warning" command
It is working but I can't that check in my table. Lamp is all right,
but missing from
the HTML table.
So I put in this line:
exec="~bs/bin/getups" item=UPS results="1:green:Power online;2:r
ed:Power offline;4:red:UPS error;3:yellow:UPS warning" command
So the first line (ferencvaros_ups) send the result to ball under the
UPS symbol and
the second puts the check in the HTML table, as usual.
I don't know is it understable?
I think the two checks are unwanted. But I could solve the problem
with this solution
which makes double e-mails. :-(
TIA,
Ruzsi
