Hi everybody, I've some Problems. I monitor a Cisco router via the following uxmon-net options: HOST item=cpuLoad upper-yellow=35 upper-red=60 perf=1 variable=CPULoad snmpvar HOST item=MemoryFree lower-yellow=37575248 lower-red=18787624 perf=1 variable=MemoryFree snmpvar HOST item=MemoryUsed upper-yellow=37575248 upper-red=56362872 perf=1 variable=MemoryUsed snmpvar HOST item=FirmwareVersion variable=FirmwareVersion snmpvar HOST item=FanActive upper-yellow=1 upper-red=2 perf=1 variable=FanStatus snmpvar HOST item=FastEthernet00 upper-red=1 variable=NetworkInterface1Status perf=1 snmpvar HOST item=Uptime lower-red=360000 lower-yellow=6480000 variable=SystemUptime perf=1 snmpvar The mibs.txt have the corosponding variablenames included. So the problem is as follows: If the networkcable is unplugged only some of the bulbs get red. If I click on the green bulbs for a detailed view, I can see that no SNMP-Value has been returned (that's right - with no network connection -> no snmp responses). What can I do to get everything red if there ist no response? Is it possible to define: If service foo is down -> Everything is red. Next question: I want to have state red, if the uptime is lower than one hour, and yellow if its lower than 16 hours. But lower-red and lower-yellow has no impact on the state. And one last question: Is there a simple way to include bash-scripts as checkscripts? E.g. in a way like this: HOST item=mycheck file=mycheck.sh The script returns either 0,1,2 or 3 which should be "translated" to green, yellow, red, purple. Thanks Ps: Is there a Wiki or something for BigSister which extends the poor documentation? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
