Yes and no, unfortunately. It's no problem to set up the appropriate status pages and protect them by .htaccess (or something similiar). However, when it comes to the detail status pages, graphs and the like, you will end up protecting single files - which is actually possible using Apache but is rather cumbersome. Authentication, user definable and user specific views and such will be implemented with the new user frontend - but it'll take at least 6 months until this will be released.
