[Bigsister-general] No status from interface on solaris 9

Hello all,


I have the same problem getting a status from the network interface on 
solaris 9.

The lamp is always purple, not showing any interface.


According the list suggestion, I configured uxmon-net file as following 
lines:


# Information about defined systems to monitor using DESCR command.
#
# KEYWORD       SYSTEM FEATURES                         Apply To HOST
#---------      --------------------------              ------------
DESCR           features=unix,solaris,sysv              solhost
DESCR           features=unix,solaris,sysv              localhost

# Note: host can be an IP address
# Report Host   Health Test List
#------------   -----------------------------------
localhost       load memory cpuload
localhost       disk diskload
localhost       syslog
localhost       proc=inetd procs    proc=sshd procs
localhost       users
solhost         network

When I tried to start BisSister, I got unresolvable error.

Please help.

root>/etc/init.d/bigsister start
Starting Big Sister ...
  Agent uxmon                                       OK

Messages:
   Agent uxmon: uxmon: WARNING: host solhost appearing in uxmon config 
is unresolvable



The lamp is always purple, not showing any interface. On Linux, it works 
fine
btw. with just 'localhost network' in uxmon-net

I also had this problem and fixed it by running the network test from my 
bigsister server as an snmp test.
E.g.

DESCR  features=unix,solaris,remote solhost
solhost network
