[Bigsister-general] umask not set anymore in 1.X?

Hello,

I am trying to use Big Sister 1.02-4 (from rpm) with Trustix Secure Linux
release 2.2 (Sunchild) which sets the default umask to 0077. I notice in
older versions of Big Sister there are comments in the changes file about
"setting a sane umask" (0022) in the init scripts.

I wonder why this changed, and if others on the list have had any problems.
The web pages on my server are created with the file permissions 600, which
may be secure, but is not good for serving web pages.

If I put "umask 0022" back into the init scripts, will I damage anything in
the new version of Big Sister?

Thank you,
John
