You're right ... and the 1.02 release made things rather worse than
better, sorry!
For the next release, better scalability is on the schedule. Projected
are:
- multi-threading in uxmon: uxmon is supposed to execute multiple
tests in parallel (it does, at the moment, but there are prominent
exceptions ...), so that "manual" parallelism via multiple uxmon
instances is not necessary any more
- multi-threading in bsmon: ... so that large Big Sister installations
will benefit from SMP/Hyperthreading
