Nowadays Gb interfaces are commonplace, and it won't be long before we get our first 10Gb interface. We already have several interfaces that routinely run at 250-300Mb/s and that poses a problem with snmpnetwork supporting only SNMPv1. We need SNMPv2 and ifHC*Octets data! Are there any work underway to support SNMPv2c (or even v3)? Any thoughts on how to integrate that into snmpnetwork? I could hack up something, but autodetection of support for the HC counters would be nice and that does not seem so easy? /Niels -- Niels Baggesen - @home - Århus - Denmark - suppressed The purpose of computing is insight, not numbers --- R W Hamming ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
