Hi, I have a Bigsister server sending SNMP traps over to a HP NNM. It works OK, but I have a problem with the text length (SNMP trap variable $4). For some reason, most alarm texts are too short (specially when it comes from logfiles), get cut at size *random*. Some get cut around character 60 others at 89, others at a short 45, and so on... The thing is... Have anyone had this problem before ? If so... is it a missconfiguration problem ? A bug ? A feature ? :) Thanks, Enrique. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
