What is wrong if ntp check said: Ntp dead?

In uxmon-asroot:
...
bsserver                ntp

ntpq> ass

ind assID status  conf reach auth condition  last_event cnt
===========================================================
  1 41996  9624   yes   yes  none  sys.peer   reachable  2
  2 41997  91d4   yes   yes  none falsetick   reachable 13

so ntpd is running.
