[Bigsister-general] alerting via SMS

Hi all,

we're using Big Sister for quite a while now. We'd like to extend the
alerting functionality to also send out SMS messages on a certain
event. Just like you can now set up a complete schedule with sending
emails and so on, we'd like to specify in a same kind of way when to
send an SMS to a person or a group of persons (mobile phones) like
sending alerting emails (bb_event_generator.cfg).

I'd be great to specify in a likewise manner different mobile phone
groups for the different BigSister groups. For instance a group of
windows servers only needs to send an sms to those administrators and
the same for the linux server group. Extracting the subject of the
email for use as the text message in the SMS would be perfect.

I've been looking on the project site and saw a reference to sendpage.
A paging/SMS gateway.
Setting up sendpage shouldn't be too much of a hassle, but what do I
need to get BigSister and sendpage to work together? I've searched the
archives of this list and haven't really found anything that can help
me. Does anybody have a suggestion?
