[Bigsister-general] Any interest in using SNMP in place of UXMON

Hi,
        I
have implemented Big Sister easily, however, extension of the product and
speed seem to be a problem.  I have also compiled and implemented
the Net-SNMP agent on a couple of our
servers.  It seems that most of the information gained piece-meal
by different unix commands can be found by
a single query into the SNMP mib.

        I
plan on implementing a "SNMPmon" for lack of a better term which
will run in place of uxmon and will feed information to the big sister
monitor.

Does anyone else have any input?
