As I'm not tough enough in scripting perl, I can't find the error. What version of BigSister?
Sorry for not mentioning that. On Linux we use 0.98c8, on Solaris the cvs from 2005-02-01.
What version of OS?
Well, I did mention that one: Linux Debian woody and Solaris 9.
New or old style test (i.e. do you have a DESCR line)?
Yes, we have. As there is no documentation about "new" or "old" style here is an example of what I think is important:
- --- snipp --- # On Solaris this line: DESCR features=unix, sysv, solaris localhost # On Linux this line: DESCR features=unix, linux localhost [...] localhost cpuload load - --- snapp ---
Remote or local test?
cpu-tests are usually local, don't they? OK, snmp is a possibility, but we don't use that.
Which features= in DESCR line?
See above.Another question: Is the (local) network-test only available for Linux? On Solaris, all clients are showing "no interfaces monitored" :-(
