This works very well for me on my unix boxes (still having problem with my windhoos but that's no surprise :) )
can you give me some more examples on monitoring?

i'm especialy looking for disks and memory monitoring.

try using disk and memory on a system with the remote feature.

I've been able to get both disk and memory on my Linux boxes:
DESCR features=remote,unix,linux linserver
linserver perf=2 item=mem memory
linserver warnload=50% item=net network
linserver item=disk disk
linserver item=users users

If you have a semi-nonstandard system you may need to modify the storagetype OIDs. I had to do this for some Netware boxes, but my linux boxes did not need this. You can also do regexes in the partition option. Memory monitoring does not seem to be useful on the Netware boxes.. Netware caches quite greedily and thus pretty much always has 100% memory usage.

DESCR features=remote,netware nwserver
nwserver item=disk warn=5% fail=1% storagetypes=1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.27.2.1.1 partition=~DATA|PROG disk
nwserver item=users users
nwserver warnload=90% item=net network

You can also use the community string option on any of the above, but I did not bother to show that here...

i've already managed to monitor the cpu with snmp although it's not graping it yet.

How? are you using snmpvar for this?

load and cpuload will "look" like they are working, but don't.. they'll always match the value of some other host that really has cpuload working.
