[Bigsister-general] Generating SNMP-traps

I'm running Big Sister 0.99b2 on Linux.
I need to send SNMP-traps to a central management system running
CA/Unicenter.

I've uncommented the trap line in bb_event_generator.cfg and changed the
community and address.
There have been a number of alarms that have caused email alerts to be
produced, but no traps, as far as I can determine.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should check?
