We recently upgraded one of our fileservers such that one of the existing volume groups has been unmounted in favor of a newer one. Big Sister was monitoring a filesystem on the now unmounted volume group remotely via an NFS mount. I modified the /etc/fstab file on the Big Sister server to reflect the new NFS mount. Specifically, I unmounted the original NFS mount and replaced the existing mountpoint with a new one. After that I mounted the new NFS and confirmed it was running properly. After that I restarted the Big Sister server to confirm all settings were correct and operational. The problem is the change in the name of the NFS mount does not appear in the graphs. The Big Sister system is still 'expecting' to see the original NFS mount which is no longer mounted. How do I go about correcting this? The only solution that I can think of at this time is to re-install Big Sister from scratch. Is that the only solution available? ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
