Hi,I'm using bigsister 0.98c8 in network with various linux, unix and nt servers. The bigsister monitor server is running on a linux box with suse 8.0 pro installed. Everything works fine, except one thing.
On the server itself, the network check fails to transmit a status once in a while. After a certain amount of time an update is made, but then the proces repeats itself. For example:
purple Wed Oct 20 08:59:37 2004 no status report green Wed Oct 20 08:43:03 2004 green lo ok, green eth0 ok green sit0 ok purple Wed Oct 20 07:15:43 2004 no status report green Wed Oct 20 06:57:58 2004 green lo ok, green eth0 ok green sit0 ok purple Wed Oct 20 05:31:44 2004 no status report The corresponding lines in uxmon-net are as follows: DESCR features=local, linux localhost localhost frequency=3 networkI already tried playing around with the frequency settings, but that doesn't make any difference. And now, for the really strange and a bit annoying part, when running uxmon in the foreground, with "-D 4", the check does it job, and always gives the status reports in time.
Anybody any ideas how to handle this one?
