Hey there, I did the following to remove old clients: 1) I used the bs-webadmin interface to delete old entries 2) The first didn't do all the job, so I used bsadmin remove <hostname>.* bsadmin leave <hostname> "*"3) The second was not enough, so I grep'ed around the bs-directory and found out that there were entries in my /usr/local/lib/bs/var/grouping file, so I deleted these entries,
4) then 4th I entered rm /usr/local/lib/bs/www/*.html
5) and last I restarted the BigSister server: Done :)
Greetings,
kraM

monitored anymore.. I have already removed the check so there are no
more purple"s in here, but how do I really remove the clientname from
the view?

hi,
you must first remove all checks from the host and then remove the
host from every group.
bsadmin remove host.*
bsadmin leave host "*"
that should do the trick

Hello,
Sometimes this is not enough (for me anyway), I have to delete all the
files
in /usr/local/bs (NOT recursive delete, just the .html files in that directory) and restart Big Sister to force it recreate the files.
