Hi, For starters, you might want to search for the term procs on the mailing list archive on sourceforge(http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=6925). There's a ton of good information there. Secondly, maybe this info will assist you. To quote Thomas Aeby, " Kate, the "procs" test expects the process name to be the very last word on each line of the "pscomm" output. This is why "ps -ef" will not work for you. A possible workarounds would be to write a small script pre-parsing ps -ef output and use your script as "pscomm"" For additional assistance, you should post the relevant lines from your uxmon as well as the output that ps shows for mysqld on your system. As well as what it shows with various switches. Personally, I was unable to specify different pscomm= for different procs. So if I did: 'pscomm="ps -ef" proc=sshd procs pscomm="ps -auxwww" proc=master procs' ps -ef would be executed for both tests. Which might be what you are experiencing.
