Hi. I've got two problems with the Big Sister windows client (both on win2k server): 1. The services were loaded as per the instructions (got two files from the resource kit, ran install32.exe etc). The services are listed, and when I tell them to start, the server indicates that the started. However no data is sent to the server (and I don't think it appears in the task manager either, although I'm not sure what I'm looking for). However, when I run it from the command line with the perl command, it starts fine and begins sending data. If I close the dos window, the client stops sending data. So obviously the exe and perl are in the right place. Any ideas why the service manager would say it started when it has not? 2. (On a different server) I can start the big sister client by hand, however it is not reporting disk data. Everything updates on the big sister server, except the disk part. It stays purple and displays a message that says "no file systems monitored." In the uxmon file, I have localhost(jones2k-svr) disk This is the same thing I have on another server, and it works there just fine. Any ideas? (oh, sorry about the post yesterday. It was a long and frustrating day. In the end, I ended up rebooting the server, and then it started graphing stuff. I though that was only reserved for the windows world :) -- "I've heard that if you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear satanic verses.
