The voice messages arnt perfect, and so far i havnt managed to get it to 
not send the fax/data training tones at the beginning of the call - but 
then again, i havnt tried too hard because its not that important to me

I've not used a pager, but you may be able to use vgetty scripts to do 
the dialing etc..?
