Let me first start off by saying that I am a Unix admin that writes almost everything in bash. I use a windows desktop only for access to my Email and calendar on our exchange server. I main workstation is run gentoo linux. I prefer to live in the Unix world, though I know there are uses for windows. With that said I will go on to the subject of this email. How can I help with Bigsister. This includes helping on the Windows agent/server side of things. I have been using bigsister for about 6 months now. During this time it has mainly bee watching websites and linux servers. I currently working on setting up agents on my Solaris servers along with adding windows servers into the mix of things I watch. The solaris servers are not a problem since I have already build an agent package for solaris 9 that I can put on all of then and get then running. The windows agent is where I am seeing lots of work needed, and I am willing to try to help where I can. Though I have no idea where to start. I have access to Win2k, Win2003, and WinXP. As long as someone can point me to documentation I can usually figure out almost anything.
