Check out PAR[1]--Perl archives. Even if you chose not to use it, it
includes a nice tool that does a decent job of dependency checking (some
Tk modules give it troubles as well as any modules that auto-load
plugins).  Other than those snafus, it has simplified my deployment of
Perl applications to remote servers.
