[cgiapp] Simple form validation problem...

An application I recently built does some basic form validation in each
run mode. Currently if a field doesn't pass validation then an error is
returned along with a Flash button that returns the user to the first
run mode. This is a pain for the users because they see this button and
assume that they can just click it and be returned to the page where
they made the error, but it doesn't work that way. The back button in
the browser would work fine except that the designer decided to have
this page open in a separate window without a back button.

Is there an easy way to implement the functionality of the back button
with Javascript (or something else) in order to solve this problem
without rewriting a big chunk of the application? I initially
considered using CGI::Application::ValidateRM but I confess I've never
taken the time to learn it (and it seemed a little complicated for my
needs).

Ideas?

Thanks! =)
