JSW4NET Inc. was founded in 1999 by computer network consultant John Walker, the Infrastructure Guru. His mission is to provide small businesses with the same level of professional service and experience that large companies with in-house technology experts enjoy.
Walker began his professional computer career nearly two decades ago, as an educator and trainer for several New York based companies. In the early 90’s, when the World Wide Web was still in its infancy, he founded a company focused on training end-users on various software packages.
The company transitioned into a provider of professional web development and hosting services. John eventually sold the business to go to work for a regional cable company, where he managed an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and helped to develop a telephone service.
